A recovery is not the same as a tow. When a vehicle leaves the road — into a ditch on I-35W, a median on I-694, or a snowbank off Highway 36 — it has to be pulled back to firm ground safely before it can be transported. That's winching and recovery work, and it's what we're built for, day or night.

What is a winch-out vs. a tow?
A winch-out is a recovery — pulling a stuck vehicle back to firm ground. It uses different equipment and time than a standard tow and is usually quoted separately.
Do I need to call the police after an accident?
Call 911 for any injury or a blocked lane. Minnesota generally requires a report for significant property damage. We coordinate with law enforcement on scene.
Who pays for accident recovery?
